Challenge Teams Program
Competitive Play with AYSO Philosophy
AYSO offers an alternative to Duke City for accomplished players who want to increase their skills through play with and against more intense competition. The Challenge Teams Program includes teams from U10 through U19 who play in the Duke City Metro Schedule against "club teams" as part of AYSO's own Challenge Football Club.
AYSO players are selected for the teams through tryouts. They practice twice a week like other AYSO teams, but they play against teams in the Duke City Metro League (teams from the Duke City Soccer League, Northwest Rio Grande, and other Club Teams). Challenge teams also play in tournaments in town, throughout New Mexico, and out of state.

Teams for the 2013/2014 Season Announced
Challenge Football Club has selected coaches for next season, and is happy to announce the list of teams for next year. We will have 8 boys teams and 14 girls teams playing in 12 Divisions of the Duke City Soccer League.
New Teams
Next season we will have sixnew teams, which are primarily AYSO ACT or EXTRA teams moving up to Challenge.

As the Calendar Year quickly comes to a close, it is time to start thinking about Spring Season and getting our teams ready for play. What better way to melt off the winter and refresh the players than to come to the AYSO Meltdown Friendly Tournament on February 9th and 10th,2013!
NEW THIS YEAR!! We will be hosting a tournament inside a tournament for the younger age groups and the less competitive younger teams.
U19 Boys Challenge Elite
For everyone who is interested in playing for U19 Boys Challenge Soccer for the Spring of 2013, we will be having a tryout on December 8, 2012 at 10:00am at Madison Middle School.
Please invite others to join us as several of last year's players have indicated that they will not be returning to play this year.
Come with a soccer ball and be ready to play.
