Uniform Survey Comments

I liked the uniforms, they were comfortable and easy to clean. The shorts fit well so they did not gape open when my child tumbled around.

This was the second uniform he has had. The first shirt was way too small. When it was reordered, a Medium was sent and it is better than before. It would be GREAT if somewhere on the registration form there was a spot to put your child's size. That way, when teams were formed, uniforms could be ordered accordingly and each child would have a proper fitting uniform.

We didn't get a say in what size they got. At practice last fall, the coach brought a box full of uniforms that were sent for the team, and we all just had to pick and choose. Just because my son was one of the tallest on the team, he had to have a larger size; but he is acutally one of the skinniest on the team, so the shorts almost fall off of him! It would be nice to be able to choose a uniform size on the registration form.

I really like the diffrent colors and partterns that have been added in the 5 years since my kids have been playing AYSO. We have never had any major issues with uniform sizing. If anything longer socks would be nice, but that wasn't part of the question. Thank you for what you do.

When it comes to uniform size we try to get ones with the number 7 or higher or else it would be too small by the second half of the season.

I do not actually know the sizes, but my daughter is in the 5th to tenth percentile for her age and has a July birthday (hence since nearly the youngest). I have had to completely remake the shorts each year she has played.

The shirts were so long we had to take it to a seamtress to eliminate over 12 inches of material. Our daughter is the tallest in her third grade class, so she is tall for her age and the shirt was extremely long. Thank you for asking for our opinion! We appreciate all you do for the children.

Fit for this one was just right, although there was a "tussle" for the larger Jerseys at the beginning of the season.....

I was informed that I would have the correct size uniform if we put the request in. As of present we never got the uniform. This season is almost over. I had to spend an extra $25.00 to have it altered to fit her. We are also informed that when we sign our kids up for AYSO soccer it ONLY costs us $75.00 including uniform. Why would a 8/9 year old need an Adult L uniform outfit? We have spent more money than your ONLY $75. My children love AYSO soccer. I of course love that they do but I have to tell you that I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the uniforms for children and empty promises to correct the situation.

Every year the uniforms are TOO BIG for my daughter. My daughter is always the smallest player on the team. Because we were out-of-town for the day the uniforms were passed out my daughter this year she got an Adult M. The shirt is too big on me (MOM)!! I would really like to see more of the smaller size uniforms for the teams.

Maybe before you order the uniforms for next year you send out another survey on the size the child is wearing at that time due to the child growing over the summer.

Our uniforms were mostly white with minimal color on the arm and neckband. These stain easily and dirt is hard to remove. We have another player with a red shirt with white trim and the darker colored uniforms are definitely easier to care for.

He was the tallest on the team so he got the biggest shirt but it was way too big.

This years size choices were much better than last year...getting close to getting it right! thanks!

There never seem to be enough of the right sizes for each team. Can't each child order his own uniform size?

I really like the thicker socks we have this year and we had a few years ago. Last year the socks were thin and wore out quickly.

Too big at beginning of year but just right now. Just fine.

We have red shirts with white trim and black shorts. This was easier to care for than my daughter's mostly white jerseys. The white jerseys show lots of stains.

The older boys should have shorts that are atleast 6 inches longer. Many of them are wearing longer shorts underneith or are not wearing their uniform issued shorts because they are so short. I think the shirts fit fine but like a v neck not a crew neck.

There are more colors for uniforms than blue and yellow. Uniforms should not be so similar that players are forced to wear jerseys to tell the teams apart during games.

It seemed that there were too many similar colors for the teams this year.
