The CVP training is now called Coach Safe Haven training. (Actually, it always was, we were just being lazy about it.) Anyway, the following instruction are from the News section of the home page:

There is an on-line version of the Coach Safe Haven class on the AYSO Training website (www.aysotraining.org). You will need your AYSO ID number to take the on-line class. When you log in to eAYSO, you will see your AYSO ID number. If you have questions, please contact the CVPA. Please note, the on-line class is for refreshers only. If you've never taken a live Safe Haven class, the on-line class is not sufficient.

I would like for whoever stumbles across this post to know how great this organization was and I am sure still is. I lived in Albequerque as a child for a brief 2 years. I moved there at the age of 8 in 1980 and moved away again in 1982. In my brief 2 years there I was given the gift of soccer. I had never heard of soccer before moving to Albequerque.
I ended up playing both years while living there and
soccer has been a passion for me ever since. The great program in Albequerque is what I attribute for my true joy in the sport.

I now have children of my own and sit on the local
soccer board in my town as well coach and refereeing. Soccer for many years of my life has been a great love of mine. I sincerely believe that whoever takes the time to be involved there in Albequerque will reap long and lasting rewards for the rest of your life.

Good luck to all the players and parents. And remember: We practice hard so we can play hard!
