Registration for 2011 - 2012 Season Waiting List Registration for the 2011-2012 Season is closed but there is still room on many teams. If you missed registration, and you want your child to play, you may opt to be placed on a wait list. To be placed on the wait list, go to eAYSO and fill out the application today.
As we form teams, we will add players from this database as space permits on a first-come-first-served basis. You will be contacted by your child's division registrar with further instructions if space permits. Please do not contact your AYSO staff or volunteers to be placed on the wait list. You must fill out the application at eAYSO and our system will automatically place you.
When you are offered a spot on a team, you will need to complete the registration process, which is detailed on the "Get Registerd" tab, above.
Registration Steps
Registration Form
Pre-register on-line at www.eAYSO.org . The on-line registration process takes about 15 minutes. The important points are that you select the APS elementary school serving your neighborhood regardless of where your child attends school, and that you print two copies and bring them to registration. If you've not done eAYSO before, click the "Read More" button to get all the details.
When you click on the eAYSO link, eAYSO will open in a new tab or window. That way you can refer back to the instructions, below, as you use eAYSO. When you are done there, you can come back here and continue the registration steps.
You'll see options for first time users or returning users. Click on the correct button for your situation. Then you'll get to a screen with General Instructions. Start at the left with Parent – fill in or update all information. You'll then see options for volunteering. Even though you've already completed the Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet you printed, please select any volunteer opportunities that interest you on this page as well.
Click Next and you'll be asked to enter your region information. We are Region 104. You'll then see a screen verifying you chose Region 104.
Click Next and it's time to enter or update your child's information. In addition to the * fields, Region 104 requires you to select an APS elementary school and provide an email address. Our volunteers need your email address to be able to easily contact you in case of any registration anomaly.
When you register a player, you will find a drop down list called "School." Choose the APS elementary (not middle, high, pre or private) school that serves your neighborhood. This is the school district for your neighborhood, not necessarily the school your child attends. This is how the computer places children on teams in or near their neighborhood. IF YOU SELECT "OTHER", YOUR CHILD WILL BE RANDOMLY PLACED ON A TEAM IN THE GREATER ALBUQUERQUE AREA. It is very difficult and time consuming for volunteers to contact parents to find out what school they really meant when they select "Other."
If your child will be playing in the VIP program , please select VIP as the school.
If your child has an August birthday, you have a decision to make. AYSO places you on a team based on your age on August 1. APS puts you in a grade based on your age on September 1. Children born in August can play with their age group and be the oldest players on the team or play with their grade and be the youngest players on the team. To let us know your choice, please enter "Play with age" or "Play with grade" in the box on the registration form next to the statement, "Players living in the same household … are registering now". If you leave this box empty, you will probably get a phone call from a registration volunteer, or your child may be placed on a team with his or her age. It is very difficult and time consuming for volunteers to contact parents to find out what division they really wanted.
If your child will be playing U19 next season, select _U19B if your child is a boy or _U19G if your child is a girl. Because U19 is an experimental division with AYSO National, players are allowed to request to play either a certain coach or with certain friends. In the text box next to the statement, "Players living in the same household … are registering now:" please note either the names of friends or the name of the coach you would prefer to be on your team. If this field is left blank, your child will be placed on a team based on your zip code. Coaches for U19B and U19G will be posted include as they volunteer and are identified. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request, but it is not guaranteed.
Click submit and you'll return to a page which gives you the option to display and print your forms.
You can pay your registraiton fee at a registration session. We accept cash, check, or money order.
Once your on-line registration is complete, you will need to print and sign TWO registration forms , then return to this website and continue with the remaining steps.
Turn off your pop-up blocker if you have problems printing the forms and receipts.
When you print your registration form, it will show an even number division (U6, U8, U10, etc.) If that seems wrong, don't worry, as long as the birth date is correct, we'll put your player in the right division.
Volunteer Application
Volunteers who will work with the kids or with information about the kids: Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Referees, and Regional Board and Staff Members must complete a volunteer application on eAYSO . The volunteer application allows us to conduct background checks on our volunteers to make sure the kids are safe. As a bonus, registered volunteers qualify for coverage under our Soccer Accident Insurance policy.
To apply as a volunteer complete the following steps:
Complete a volunteer application on eAYSO.
Print two copies of the completed volunteer application.
Submit the volunteer applications at registration in person (bring a photo ID with you).
Once approved and assigned a position you must attend the appropriate training (see Job Descriptions).
When you Log in to eAYSO , pick one of the four volunteer links that fits your situation (if you're under 18 years old, pick one of the youth categories):
Apply as a new adult volunteer.
Apply as a returning adult volunteer.
Apply as a new youth volunteer.
Apply as a returning youth volunteer.
Fill out the form.
Print two copies of the completed volunteer application.
Bring the two copies with you with a photo ID when you come to registration.
Just before the season starts, you will have an opportunity to receive training for your volunteer position.
Safe Haven Certification - all volunteers must attend this imporant certification class at least once (referees typically receive this training as part of their referee training.)
Job Specific Training - most of our volunteer positions include training so that you can be successful at your job. For a list of upcoming training opportunities, see the "Get Involved" section of the website. If you need training that is not listed on the training schedule, talk to your Division Commissioner.
Kids Zone Parent Pledge
AYSO's Kids Zone is a dynamic program targeted to eliminate negative sideline behavior. You must complete a Kids Zone Pledge (available in English or Spanish) with your registration. Click on either English or Spanish , fill out the form, and put it with your eAYSO registration form so you can bring it to registration.
Coach Evaluation
Returning parents are encouraged to complete a Coach Evaluation survey online. This is really important to help us provide you with a great coach, and it only takes a minute or so. There is nothing to print out and return, so please fill it out.
Birth Certificate
If a player has never played for Region 104 before, we must see the player's birth certificate. Bring the birth certificate to registration.
